Junior City Officials take oath

JUNIOR CITY OFFICIALS TAKE OATH. General Santos City Mayor Pedro Acharon, Jr. administers the oath-taking of 16 high school students from various schools during their first day of immersion as junior counterparts of the elected officials of the city on November 17, 2008. Among them are Junior City Mayor Hennela Jin Kwan (Hope Christian School), Junior Vice Mayor Charis Kay Antonio (MSU-CETD), Junior Councilors Romeo Martin, Shareen Miranda, Lara Mae Lorenzo, John Mar Dangane, Christel Anne Chu-Santos, Ciarra King, Quenny Guibone, April Joy Ong, Kycia Vanelie Cue, Katherine Anne Facelo, Charmane Dawn Esper, Gwenbelle Acharon, Jay Vaughnn Pelonio and Glenn Francis Gacal. They were chosen from more than 150 applicants through a series of interviews and exams conducted by the Youth Affairs and Development Office under Mr. Elmer Cequina.
