GENSAN DFA-REGIONAL CONSULAR OFFICE INAUGURATED.  The Regional Consular Office of the Department of Foreign Affairs at the Gaisano Compound, was inaugurated yesterday, December 22, 2008.  Leading the ribbon-cutting were (from left) GenSan City Mayor Jun Acharon, Head of the Regional Consular Office Coordinating Center of the DFA Moises Ocampo, Special Guest of Honor Assistant Secretary of the DFA Atty, Domingo Lucenario, Jr., Vice Mayor Flor Congson, Director of Passport Division Atty. Donna Gatmaitan, and DFA-RCO Gensan Head Daniel Te.  The ROC Gensan is just the 17th office of the DFA in the country.  Now people of Regiona 12 do not have to travel to Davao City for their passporting requirements and concerns.
