FIRST LADY AT ENCHANTED GENSAN OPENING. General Santos City First Lady Dr. Rose Acharon, who is also the chair of Kagandahan GenSan, the group behind the Pasko Sa Gensan 2008, thanks the people behind this year’s staging of the annual Christmas Festival during its official launch at the Oval Plaza stage last December 5th. The theme for this year is Enchanted GenSan: Once Upon a Yuletide Season.  Highlights during the opening were the Drum and Lyre Competition, the simultaneous light-up of all the featured displays in the city and a Grand Fireworks Display.  Artistic Director Egai Cadiente promises a bigger and more colorful celebration throughout the remainder of the year.  (GenSan CMO/avel manansala)
