SOARING HIGH. City officials release white doves and balloons to signal the start of the merry-making for the 70th Foundation Anniversary of Gen. Santos City on February 27, 2009 at the Gen. MABUHAY KALILANGAN 2009. These words echoed all throughout the GenSan oval plaza as these Kalilangan dancers competing at the Kadsagayan Street Dancing Competion made it part of their battlecry.  Six contingents participated in this culminating activity for the Kalilangan Festival, in honor of the city’s 70th Foundation Anniversary.
