MAYOR JUN AT JOSE CATOLICO SR. ELEMENTARY. GenSan City Mayor Pedro “Jun” Acharon addresses the graduates of the Jose Catolico, Sr. Elementary School, School Year 2008-09 during their Commencement Exercises at the General Santos Gym where he extolled the parents and teachers for being instrumental in the children’s education.  He urged the students to continue on aiming for higher studies as this will be the basis of their success in the future. THE MAYOR AND THE VALEDICTORIAN. GenSan City Mayor congratulates Jose Catolico Sr. Elementary School Valedictorian Saira Mae Palao after awarding her the Presidential Excellence and Leadership Medal from President Gloria Arroyo.  Also in the picture is the valectorian’s mother, Amalia Palao.  The event was the graduation ceremony for the Grade 6 pupils of the said school on March 31, 2009 at the Gen.
