Mayor Darlene unveils websites of 69 public elementary schools

In a jampacked SunCity Complex ballroom, General Santos City Mayor Darlene Antonino-Custodio presented to DepEd teachers, students and principals and members of the media, the official websites of the city’s 69 public elementary schools on October 21, 2011.

This is in addition to the official websites of GenSan’s 26 barangay high schools which were launched a few weeks earlier.

Mayor Darlene was accompanied by the Gene De Guzman, Executive Assistant to the Secretary of the Department of Education Bro. Armin Luistro, FSC who couldn’t make it.

The websites which were designed and developed under the mayor’s flagship project, the SHEEP Computer Literacy Program headed by Executive Assistant Percival Pasuelo, may be accessed via a Centralized Website – www.gensantos.org.

General Santos City now holds the distinction of being the first city in the country where all its public schools have online presence.  Mabuhay ang GenSan!
