NON-AVAILABILITY OF STOCKS OF AMMONIA PAPER IN THE MARKET, THE REPRODUCTION OF
PLANS/SPECIFICATIONS BY THE OFFICE OF THE CITY ENGINEER WAS DELAYED
ON QUERRIES REGARDING
THE TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS OF THE ABOVE PROJECT, PLEASE COORDINATE WITH ENGR.

INVITATION TO SUBMIT A
PROJECT PROPOSAL
The Local Government Unit – General Santos City (LGU - GSC) hereby
invites all qualified Non-Governmental Organizations / People’s Organization (NGOs/POs)
to submit a proposal for the implementation of the project described herein:
Name of Project: Business Month Celebration 2008
(YAMAN Gensan 2008)
Project Description: For a period of one
(1) month from June 23 – July 22, 2008, the selected NGO/PO will act as the City’s
project partner tasked to conceptualise and to manage various project related activities
to include but not limited to the following: Conventions, Business Meetings and
Conferences, Search for Outstanding Local Businessmen, Fairs & Exhibits,
Trainings & Seminars, Competitions and Special Events.
The LGU - GSC intends to
apply the sum of P 1,000,000.00 for
this project. Proposals with funding
requirements above this amount shall be automatically rejected.
The LGU - GSC now calls for
the submission of the proposals from the prospective project partner NGOs/POs;
accompanied by the necessary documentary requirements as listed in section 4.4 of
Circular No. 2007–01 (attached) of
the Commission on Audit (COA).
Interested NGOs/POs must
submit their project proposals and other required documents on or before April
11, 2008, 5:00 pm to the Chairman, Local Finance Committee, Office of the City Treasurer,
Ground Floor, City Hall Building, General Santos City.
A special committee has been
tasked to evaluate project proposals relative to this project. This committee will recommend the qualified
NGO/PO considered as the appropriate project partner to the City Mayor.
The implementation of the
project will be governed by the Terms of Reference in a Memorandum of Agreement
(MOA) to be signed between the authorized representative of the chosen project
partner NGO/PO and the City Mayor, upon the authorization of the Sangguiniang Panglungsod.
For project partnerships
between the LGU - GSC and NGOs/POs; the COA Circular No. 2007 - 01 guidelines
for the granting, utilization, accounting and auditing of grant funds will be
observed. All inquiries shall be
directed to the Chairman, Local Finance
Committee, Office of the City Treasurer, Ground Floor, City Hall Building, General Santos City, telephone nos. 553-4601.

ONE-TOWN-ONE-PRODUCT ACTIVITIES 2008
Project Description: For a period of seven
(7) months from June – December 2008, the selected NGO/PO will act as the City’s
project partner tasked to conceptualise and to manage various project related activities
to include but not limited to the following: Small & Medium Enterprises
information support; implementation of product branding program, Tuna Value
Added Product communication plan; and Capability building and entrepreneurship
development for market expansion.
The LGU – GSC intends to
apply the sum of P 150,000.00 for
this project. Proposals with funding
requirements above this amount shall be automatically rejected.
The now
calls for the submission of the proposals from the prospective project partner
NGOs/POs; accompanied by the necessary documentary requirements as listed in section
4.4 of Circular No. 2007–01 (attached)
of the Commission on Audit (COA).

related activities, to include but not limited to the following: establishment of
strong partnerships between the LGU – GSC, local industries, academe, Research &
Development institutions and Department of Science and Technology; capability
enhancement through trainings and benchmarking with continuous research; and
city-wide information dissemination campaign through briefings and exhibits
relative to the issues on Intellectual Property.
The LGU – GSC intends to
apply the sum of P 150,000.00 for
this project. Proposals with funding
requirements above this amount shall be automatically rejected.

competitions, tourism fair and exhibits, job fairs, lectures, seminars, fora and symposia, beauty contests and other arts and
culture events.
The LGU - GSC intends to
apply the sum of P 1,000,000.00 for this project. Proposals with funding requirements above
this amount shall be automatically rejected.
The LGU - GSC now calls for
the submission of the proposals from the prospective project partner NGOs/POs;
accompanied by the necessary documentary requirements as listed in section 4.4 of
Circular No. 2007–01 (attached) of
the Commission on Audit (COA).

organization of the pre-races, dry runs and actual race event.
The LGU – GSC intends to
apply the sum of P 350,000.00 for
this project. Proposals with funding
requirements above this amount shall be automatically rejected.
